Terms of Use

Effective Date: Monday 10th August 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of the MWCanHelp website, services, events and online community.

MWCanHelp is the trading name of Michelle Wright, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. MWCanHelp provides business consultancy, business coaching and educational events, primarily for aspiring and early-stage business owners across the UK.

By using the MWCanHelp website, booking a service, attending an event or otherwise engaging with MWCanHelp, you agree to these Terms, together with any separate terms that apply to a specific service, event or community.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the website or services.

1. About MWCanHelp

MWCanHelp provides practical, one-to-one business support to help business owners gain clarity, make informed decisions and take practical steps towards their business goals.

Services are delivered entirely online and may include:

  • Strategic Business Planning

  • Business Formation Advisory

  • Funding Readiness Advisory

  • Marketing Strategy Consulting

  • Sales Strategy Consulting

  • Executive Coaching

  • Educational events and business insights

  • Access to the MWCanHelp community

The specific services available, pricing and terms may change from time to time.

2. Our Approach

MWCanHelp provides guidance, insight and structured support based on the information you provide and the circumstances discussed during your sessions.

Our services are designed to help you understand your options, identify priorities, make informed decisions and take practical next steps.

We provide consultation and coaching rather than carrying out the work on your behalf, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

You remain responsible for implementing any actions discussed and for decisions relating to your business.

3. One-to-One Consultancy and Coaching

One-to-one sessions provide personalised guidance based on your business, circumstances, goals and current stage.

The content of each session will depend on the service purchased and the information you provide.

MWCanHelp does not guarantee that a particular business outcome, level of income, funding result, sales result, customer growth or other commercial result will be achieved.

Business decisions remain your responsibility.

4. Educational Events and General Guidance

MWCanHelp may provide free or paid educational events, workshops, group sessions and business insight sessions.

Information provided during general events is intended as general business guidance and education. It is not necessarily tailored to your individual circumstances.

For tailored advice relating to your specific business, you should use an appropriate one-to-one consultancy or coaching service.

Events are also subject to the separate MWCanHelp Event Policy.

5. Professional Advice

MWCanHelp provides business consultancy and coaching. We are not a firm of solicitors, accountants or regulated financial advisers.

Any information relating to legal, tax, accounting, financial or other regulated matters is provided for general business guidance only.

You should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified or regulated professional where your circumstances require specialist advice.

6. Services and Service Bundles

MWCanHelp may offer services as individual sessions or as three-part service bundles.

The services and pricing currently outlined in our business plan include three-part bundles and one-off sessions.

The applicable price, service description, number of sessions and any promotional terms will be confirmed when you book.

A promotional or discounted price may only be available for a specified period or to eligible attendees, as stated at the time of purchase.

7. Booking and Payment

Services must normally be paid for in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.

A booking is confirmed once payment has been received or another payment arrangement has been agreed in writing.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and any information reasonably required to deliver the service.

8. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Refunds

Cancellation and refund rights may depend on the type of service purchased, whether you are purchasing as a consumer or for business purposes and whether the service has already started.

Nothing in these Terms removes or limits any statutory rights you may have.

Where a consumer has a legal right to cancel a distance contract, that right will apply in accordance with applicable law.

If you request that a service begins before the end of any applicable cancellation period, any applicable rights and charges will be dealt with in accordance with the law.

Once a service has been properly delivered, no refund will normally be available solely because you are dissatisfied with the outcome, subject to your statutory rights.

Missed sessions may not be refunded or rescheduled unless MWCanHelp agrees otherwise or applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

Any specific cancellation or refund terms applying to an event will be set out in the Event Policy or event booking information.

9. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information

  • Attending scheduled sessions on time

  • Taking reasonable steps to prepare for sessions

  • Considering and implementing any actions you choose to take

  • Checking information independently where appropriate

  • Obtaining specialist professional advice where required

MWCanHelp cannot make decisions on your behalf or guarantee the results of decisions you make.

10. Business Outcomes

Business success depends on many factors outside MWCanHelp’s control.

These may include your actions, market conditions, customers, competitors, finances, economic conditions, regulatory requirements and other circumstances.

MWCanHelp therefore does not guarantee:

  • Profit

  • Business growth

  • Funding approval

  • Sales

  • Customers

  • Investment

  • Business survival

  • A particular financial result

  • Any other specific commercial outcome

11. Third-Party Providers and Referrals

MWCanHelp may introduce or recommend third-party professionals, businesses, platforms, tools or other service providers.

Introductions are made in good faith and may be based on experience, professional relationships or recommendations.

A third-party introduction does not mean that MWCanHelp guarantees or endorses the third party’s services, conduct, pricing, availability, suitability or results.

You are responsible for carrying out your own due diligence before engaging a third party.

Any contract you enter into with a third party is between you and that third party.

MWCanHelp is not responsible for the services, actions, omissions or performance of third-party providers.

Where personal information is shared for an introduction, this will be handled in accordance with the MWCanHelp Privacy Policy and any consent requirements that apply.

12. Third-Party Websites and Platforms

MWCanHelp may provide links to third-party websites, platforms or resources.

These services may be operated by businesses based in the UK or outside the UK.

MWCanHelp does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their websites, terms, privacy practices, security, availability, content, services or actions.

You should review the relevant third party’s own terms and privacy policy before using their services.

13. Fraud, Scams and Misuse

MWCanHelp aims to provide a safe and constructive environment for business owners.

However, MWCanHelp cannot guarantee that every person, business, website, service provider, attendee or external organisation encountered through our website, community, events or introductions is genuine or will act appropriately.

You are responsible for carrying out reasonable checks before sending money, entering into an agreement, sharing confidential information or engaging with another person or business.

MWCanHelp does not authorise or endorse fraudulent activity, misleading claims, scams or unlawful conduct.

If we become aware of suspected fraudulent, harmful or unlawful activity connected with our services, community or events, we may suspend access, remove content, refuse participation or take other appropriate action.

14. Website Use

You agree to use the MWCanHelp website lawfully and responsibly.

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems

  • Introduce malicious software or harmful code

  • Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes

  • Misrepresent your identity or business

  • Copy or reproduce MWCanHelp materials without permission

  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website

  • Use the website to harass, threaten or harm others

We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access where these Terms are breached.

15. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, content published by MWCanHelp, including text, branding, graphics, written resources, materials and other original content, belongs to MWCanHelp or is used with permission.

You may use materials provided to you for your own personal or business purposes in connection with the service purchased.

You must not reproduce, resell, distribute, publish, modify or commercially exploit MWCanHelp materials without prior written permission.

16. Confidentiality

MWCanHelp will handle information provided during consultancy and coaching sessions with reasonable care.

However, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed where disclosure is required by law, necessary to protect someone’s safety or permitted under our Privacy Policy.

Group events and community spaces are not confidential environments. The separate Event Policy and community rules apply to those spaces.

17. Privacy and Personal Information

Personal information is handled in accordance with the MWCanHelp Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, stored and shared.

The Privacy Policy can be found at:

mwcanhelp.com/privacy-policy

18. Complaints Procedure

MWCanHelp aims to provide professional, practical and respectful services.

If you are unhappy with a service, you should contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:

Email: enquiries@mwcanhelp.com

Please provide:

  • Your name

  • The service involved

  • The date of the relevant session or interaction

  • A clear description of the issue

  • The outcome you would like us to consider

We will acknowledge your complaint and review the matter fairly.

Where possible, we aim to provide a substantive response within 20 working days. If more time is reasonably required, we will explain why and provide an expected response date.

If the matter cannot be resolved through the initial complaint, we may offer an internal review or discuss an appropriate form of alternative dispute resolution where suitable.

Making a complaint does not affect any statutory rights you may have.

19. Dispute Resolution

Where a dispute arises, both parties should first try to resolve the matter through the complaints procedure.

Where appropriate, the parties may agree to mediation or another form of alternative dispute resolution before commencing court proceedings.

Nothing in this clause prevents either party from taking urgent legal action where this is reasonably necessary or from exercising any statutory right to bring proceedings.

20. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to this, MWCanHelp will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our website or services where such losses are not reasonably foreseeable.

MWCanHelp is not responsible for business decisions you make or for commercial outcomes arising from those decisions.

Where liability can lawfully be limited, any limitation will be proportionate and subject to your statutory rights.

21. Indemnity

If you use MWCanHelp’s website or services unlawfully, breach these Terms or cause loss to MWCanHelp through your wrongful actions, you may be responsible for losses reasonably arising from that breach.

Nothing in this clause requires you to compensate MWCanHelp for losses that cannot legally be recovered from you.

22. International Access and Third Parties

MWCanHelp operates from the United Kingdom.

Our paid consultancy and coaching services are primarily intended for business owners across the UK. Our free community may include members from Europe and other countries.

If you access MWCanHelp services from outside the UK, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the services complies with the laws applicable to you.

Where third-party platforms or providers operate internationally, their own terms and privacy policies may apply.

23. Suspension and Termination

MWCanHelp may suspend or terminate access to services, events, communities or other platforms where there is a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, inappropriate conduct, misuse, suspected fraud or other circumstances that make continued participation inappropriate.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice before termination.

Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.

24. Events and Community

Participation in MWCanHelp events is subject to the separate Event Policy.

Participation in any MWCanHelp WhatsApp community or other community space may also be subject to separate community rules.

Where separate terms apply to a particular service, event or community, those terms will apply alongside these Terms.

25. Force Majeure

MWCanHelp will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control.

This may include serious illness, technical failures, internet outages, platform failures, natural disasters, government action, strikes or other events that prevent or materially affect service delivery.

Where reasonably possible, we will communicate any significant disruption and seek to rearrange affected services.

26. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on the MWCanHelp website with the applicable date.

Where a change materially affects an existing service or agreement, we will take reasonable steps to communicate the change where appropriate.

27. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the MWCanHelp Privacy Policy, Event Policy, community rules and any separate written agreement relating to a specific service, form the contractual framework governing your relationship with MWCanHelp.

Where a separate written agreement contains terms that specifically apply to a particular service, those terms will take priority over these general Terms to the extent of any conflict.

28. Waiver

If MWCanHelp does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that MWCanHelp has waived the right to enforce that provision later.

Any waiver must be confirmed in writing.

29. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the extent necessary to make it lawful where possible.

If it cannot be made lawful, it will be removed to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

30. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Where court proceedings are permitted or required, the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights or protections that apply to consumers.
